Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience supporting children or young adults in educational or childcare environments is highly valued Familiarity with classroom routines and a willingness to assist with diverse educational needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, teachers, and families Ability to follow directions, adapt to new situations, and demonstrate patience and flexibility High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or paraprofessional certification is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in delivering instructional materials and provide individualized or small-group support for students Monitor student behavior and help maintain a safe, structured, and positive classroom atmosphere Support students with learning activities and encourage their participation and independence Help implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as directed by teaching staff or specialists Foster inclusive practices, offering support to students with varying backgrounds, abilities, and learning needs Perform light clerical duties, prepare materials, and provide general assistance during classroom projects What makes this opportunity special?
