Qualifications and Experience Desired:
Previous experience working in schools, preferably as a paraprofessional or instructional aide Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and students Comfortable providing support to students with diverse learning needs Associates degree, completion of 48 college credits, or parapro assessment (preferred) Patience, adaptability, and a sincere enthusiasm for helping students achieve Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions with minimal supervision
Key Responsibilities:
Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and classroom management Support individual and small-group learning for students who need extra help Help to implement learning accommodations and modifications as directed Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, or during activities to ensure safety and engagement Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities Communicate observations and concerns about student progress to educators and support staff Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students
