In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young learners. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers with implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and early childhood education activities. Support classroom management by helping maintain a positive, organized, and safe environment for children. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote language acquisition, social skills, and cognitive development in Mandarin. Help supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meal times, nap times, and transitions throughout the day. Collaborate with teachers to monitor individual student progress and provide tailored support for children with diverse needs or disabilities. Prepare classroom materials and assist with lesson setup to ensure smooth instructional flow. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to foster a supportive learning community. Requirements Prior experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of early childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and curriculum development. Fluency in Mandarin is essential; proficiency in English is also required for effective communication. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff within a school environment. Experience with special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Strong communication skills, patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for teaching preschoolers. Technical proficiency in basic classroom tools and educational technology is desirable. Background in Montessori or other preschool teaching methodologies is advantageous.
