This position provides dedicated support to an elementary-aged student with autism in a Special Day Class (SDC). He is a sweet student who benefits from consistency, structure, and individualized support throughout his school day. The classroom is a highly structured Special Education environment with an established team and routine in place. Position Details Pay:

$26 per hour 30 hours per week MondayFriday Elementary-aged student 1:1 student support Special Day Class (SDC) Highly structured Special Education program On-site in Ben Lomond, CA Weekly paychecks What You'll Be Doing Provide consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day Help the student participate successfully in classroom activities and routines Support transitions between activities and environments Reinforce positive behaviors and established classroom expectations Assist with communication, social interaction, and independence Follow established behavioral and educational support plans Work closely with the classroom teacher and Special Education team Help maintain the predictable, structured environment in which the student is most successful Preferred Experience Previous school experience is helpful but not required. Candidates with experience in any of the following areas are encouraged to apply: Autism support Special Education ABA or behavioral support RBT or Behavior Technician experience Childcare or youth programs Direct support for individuals with developmental disabilities Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is patient, dependable, comfortable working with an elementary-aged student with autism, and able to provide consistent support Monday through Friday.
