Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Instructor to join our team at Code Ninjas Garden Grove. The Assistant Instructor will work closely with the Lead Instructor to provide a nurturing and educational environment for children with regards to computer coding. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have a passion for early childhood education and want to make a positive impact on young minds. Some coding experience required; training will be provided.

Duties:

• Assist the Lead Instructor in implementing Code Ninjas lesson plans and activities
• Provide support in creating a safe and engaging learning environment
• Assist with behavior management and promote positive social interactions among children
• Help supervise children during their coding activities
• Collaborate with the Lead Instructor to assess each child's progress and communicate with parents/guardians
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the classroom and common areas
• Contribute to curriculum development by suggesting creative ideas and materials

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
• A genuine passion for working with young children and helping them learn and grow
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and responsibilities
• Basic computer science/programming language knowledge
