School District 49 is actively seeking a General Education Para Educator at Ridgeview Elementary School. This position is Title I funded for the 26/27 school year and will be considered a one-year position unless Title funds are approved the following school year. This position is at a Title I funded school. To be qualified for the position, you must currently possess and be able to provide transcripts or test scores for one of the following: 48 college credit hours, or an Associates Degree, or passing of a formal state or local academic assessment (ex: ACT-WorkKeys and ETS-ParaPro). Please visit the CDE website for additional information regarding the assessments. Applicants who do not meet these qualification(s) at the time of hire, will have until the end of the 2026-27 school year to do so. Continued employment may be affected if the required qualifications have not been met.Calendar:
School Year Reports to: Principal Hourly rate of pay: The pay range is $20.45 to $25.56 per hour, based on relevant prior work experience. The final starting rate will be determined after reviewing the experience listed on the job application.
