If you are already a permanent employee for the District and are interested in working more hours you may either submit a transfer request form to the Classified Personnel office or inquire about becoming a substitute in the same or other classifications, in addition to your permanent assignment. We reserve the right to limit the number of candidates to those deemed most qualified for the particular vacancy, based upon application screening and test scores. There will be an application screening for the position to verify that the minimum qualifications (education & experience) have been satisfied. We will email you via www.edjoin.org to advise you if you may participate in the written and/or performance exam. All candidates will be required to provide a photo ID with their signature. If you pass the written and/or performance exam, you may be scheduled to participate in the Oral/Technical Exam. Candidates must pass each portion of the exam in order to proceed in the recruitment and be placed on the eligibility list. The eligibility list for this recruitment will be valid for one year. Please note that Ocean View School District provides training to obtain ABA/DTT certification. Verification of successful completion of this training is required within three months of hire.
