We are hiring a Summer Part-Time Aide to work with children ages 2-6 alongside our experienced, dedicated Montessori teachers. This is a wonderful opportunity for a college student, ECE student, or aspiring teacher to gain meaningful, hands-on classroom experience with supportive on-the-job training.

Position Details:

May-August 2026 4-6 hours daily Flexible scheduling available Immediate hire $18-$21/hour, depending on qualifications and experience 9-12 ECE units preferred We are looking for someone warm, dependable, patient, and eager to learn in a peaceful, respectful Montessori environment. Duties Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers. Help facilitate activities that promote childhood development, such as Montessori-based exercises or early childhood education techniques. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety and engagement at all times. Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, diapering or potty training, and classroom transitions to promote independence and social skills. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, private school settings, or similar environments is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families. Ability to handle classroom responsibilities with patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism. Relevant certifications such as CPR/First Aid or Montessori training are advantageous but not required; ongoing professional development is encouraged. Join us in shaping bright futures!
