Job Summary OC Ballet Academy in Laguna Hills, CA is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Ballet Teacher and/or Ballet Teaching Assistant to join our faculty. We are a classical ballet academy and RAD Registered Exam Center, providing structured ballet training for children and adults. Responsibilities Assist with or independently teach ballet classes. Work with children starting from approximately 3.5 years old through graded levels. Help students with correct ballet technique, posture, placement, coordination, and musicality. Assist the lead teacher with class organization and student supervision. Be comfortable taking over a class independently for short periods when needed. Support students preparing for performances and examinations. Qualifications Strong classical ballet training is required. Previous ballet teaching or teaching-assistant experience is preferred. Experience working with young children is highly valued. RAD, Vaganova, or PBT experience/training is preferred. Must be dependable, professional, patient, and comfortable working with children. Must be able to demonstrate ballet exercises correctly. Pointe experience is preferred for teachers working with higher levels. Position Details Part-time Classes are scheduled on specific weekdays and Saturdays. Hours may increase as enrollment grows. Compensation depends on teaching experience, qualifications, and whether the position is Teacher or Teaching Assistant.
