Paraprofessionals assist our teachers and develop the next generation through a specialized curriculum. They work closely with the teacher in the assigned classroom and support them in their duties.

Typical activities include creating presentations, printing off homework sheets, working with students in groups and individually during lessons, watching students during recess, and creating progress notes and reports. The ideal candidate is caring, compassionate, and dedicated to the students' success. They have a versatile skill set and a willingness to proactively look for ways to support the teacher. This position has full-time potential over time if you're a good fit when an opportunity becomes available. The Paraprofessional is accountable to the Principal. Assistance and supervision are the most crucial facets of a paraprofessional (known also as an Aide) job as they help teachers by supervising children in different educational institutions.
Hours:
8:00am
- 1:30pm Monday through Friday when school is in session Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
(PREFERRED)
- Experience working with children in grades TK-8
- High School Diploma
- (preferred, but not necessary) Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development, Education, or another liberal art program preferred.
- (preferred, but not necessary) Possession of an Associate of Arts (AA) degree or at least 48 college units
- (Highly preferred) Fluent in English and Spanish
- Tutoring experience and/or working with students preferred.
