9689312-95330 Job Description Step into a vital role supporting elementary-aged students as a contract Paraprofessional for the upcoming academic year. This opportunity begins October 12, 2026, and continues through June 4, 2027, offering consistent hours and the rewarding experience of contributing directly to student growth and well-being. In this role, youll work either one-on-one or as a floater, assisting students across kindergarten through fifth grade. Most of your time will be focused on supporting a designated student for six hours daily, helping create a positive, inclusive learning environment. Youll collaborate closely with teachers and specialists to provide academic, behavioral, and emotional support, contributing to a successful and enriching classroom experience for all.

Minimum Qualifications:

At least two years of recent experience working in a school setting Backgrounds in special education or as a registered behavioral technician strongly preferred Commitment to providing nurturing, consistent support to elementary students Ability to adapt quickly and work well as part of a collaborative educational team

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individual or small group support, following student-specific plans Assist teachers in implementing behavioral and academic strategies Support classroom activities and foster positive student engagement Provide one-on-one attention to a designated student or flex as a floater across classrooms Communicate effectively with staff and contribute to a collaborative environment This contract offers 30 hours per week across five days. Compensation for this position is $28 per hour, with weekly pay cycles to ensure timely and reliable earnings.
