Weekday mornings and early afternoons About Bloom Buds Bloom Buds offers developmentally focused parent-and-me classes for babies and toddlers throughout Los Angeles. Our classes combine sensory play, movement, fine and gross motor activities, early communication, feeding exploration, and parent education—all through purposeful play. We are looking for a warm, energetic, and dependable teacher who feels confident working with young children and educating parents and caregivers. Responsibilities Lead engaging parent-and-me classes for babies and toddlers ages 0-3 Explain the developmental purpose and benefits behind each activity Model age-appropriate play and developmental strategies for parents Create a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive class environment Facilitate circle time, sensory play, movement activities, and open play Adapt activities for children with different developmental abilities Assist with setting up and cleaning up class materials Communicate professionally with parents and the Bloom Buds team Follow all safety, sanitation, and illness policies Travel to class locations throughout Los Angeles as scheduled Qualifications Experience working in early intervention, child development, pediatric therapy, preschool, or parent-and-me programs Current student or graduate in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, or a related field Strong understanding of infant and toddler development Comfortable speaking to and educating groups of parents Warm, enthusiastic, professional, and confident personality Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally Ability to lift, carry, set up, and clean class materials CPR/First Aid certification preferred Background check required Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is playful and engaging with children while also being knowledgeable and confident with parents. You should be comfortable explaining developmental concepts in an approachable way and helping families understand how simple play activities support their child's growth. This position is especially well suited for someone with hands-on experience supporting babies and toddlers in early-intervention or parent-and-me settings. Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on education and experience.
