Job Summary Job Summary Assists teacher with student projects, demonstrations, materials, and classroom organization. This position provides hands-on support to students using a variety of art techniques and media, helps prepare and maintain art supplies and equipment, and promotes a safe, creative, and positive learning environment. Assists VAPA teachers or experienced VAPA coaches in delivering instruction and supporting student learning. Applicant must be prepared to possibly work evenings and/ or weekends.
Requirements / Qualifications
Experience in subject with 2 or more years of experience teaching and/ or assisting in a classroom environment preferred.
- Two professional references must be from an evaluating supervisor/administrator.
If selected to coach, the following items will be required prior to clearance: 1) TB/Drug Screening within 5 days of offer. 2) Live Scan Fingerprinting 3) CIF Home/ Home Campus Account 4) Completion of Keenan SafeSchools online training modules.
