Desired Qualifications & Experience Previous experience as a paraprofessional or educational assistant strongly preferred Familiarity with supporting students in special education settings, particularly those with hearing impairments or significant needs Comfort performing personal care tasks, including diapering, with compassion and respect for student dignity Ability to adapt to different classroom or site environments and work as part of a collaborative team Strong communication skills for engaging with educators, service providers, and students Reliable, flexible, and professional approach to daily assignments Role Responsibilities Facilitate virtual Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing (DHH) services as an itinerant support across multiple school sites (1 position, 32 hours/week) Provide classroom assistance in PreK Special Education, including personal care and diapering, supporting students' learning and independence (2 positions, 37.5 hours/week each) Collaborate with teachers and service providers to implement instructional and behavioral plans Assist with classroom management, set up learning materials, and help reinforce lessons Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all students Engage in regular communication with educational staff and document support activities Why Apply?
