Oakland, CA $20-30/hour MarinChess is looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support our After-School Chess Classes in Oakland. We especially welcome college students who enjoy working with children in a fun, after-school environment. No prior teaching experience is required. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside our Lead Instructors to help supervise students, support activities, and ensure a safe, engaging, and well-organized after-school experience. Teaching Assistants should be available for multiple sessions, with opportunities for long-term involvement.

Enjoys working with K-8 students in an after-school setting Positive, patient, and dependable attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills Comfortable supervising groups of children Reliable transportation to the program location in Rohnert Park Experience working with children in groups (after-school programs, camps, tutoring, mentoring, or childcare is a plus)
