Schedule:

Full-time:

35 hours weekly Monday through Friday, 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Afternoon and evening support for the children and household About the family: This warm Oakland Hills / Hiller Highlands household is lively, connected, and full of laughter. They're seeking an upbeat, dependable family assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, joyful home. You'll support a playful 4.5-year-old boy and an adventurous 2.5-year-old girl each afternoon and evening. Grandparents live nearby and often pop in, adding extra smiles and family feels.

Key responsibilities:

Afternoon household management: laundry, light tidying, dishes, wiping counters, grocery organization, and running errands School/preschool pickups and drop-offs for after-school activities Prepare and serve the kids' dinner around 4:00 p.m.

Afternoon childcare:

park time, play-based activities, outings, and general supervision Reading and early-learning support (pre-reading, early homework assistance) Help with packing, organizing, and coordinating summer camps; occasional travel support

Optional:

Tahoe trips and date-night babysitting Comfortable assisting with occasional dog-related errands Ideal candidate: Energetic, active, and comfortable in a high-speed role Easygoing and adaptable Can keep up with a fun-loving, busy household Warm, reliable, and proactive Enjoys working with both preschoolers and toddlers Ready to become a consistent, trusted part of the family routine Comfortable around a large husky

Requirements:

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. 5+ years of nanny experience Family assistant experience Experience caring for multiple kids simultaneously Strong preschool experience CPR/First Aid certification Excellent professional references Up-to-date on all required vaccinations Valid driver's license and clean driving record; comfortable driving with children Ability to pass a criminal background check (Trustline)
