A Teacher Assistant assists classroom teachers by providing extra individual attention and instruction to students. Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Requirements 1. (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) Training (required) 2. Infant CPR and First Aid (required) 3. Shaken Baby Syndrome prevention (required) 4. Recent negative TB test results (required) 5. Up -to -date on all immunizations, proof of current TB Test and Covid-19 vaccination (required) 6. Must be 18yrs or older (required) 7.
Fingerprints must be:
a. Trustline registered or DOJ/FBI LiveScan (required) Additional Needs 8. Must be able to pass a physical fitness test, which includes the following (required): a. Ability to carry 40lbs short distances b. Ability to push or pull 60lbs - physically fit enough to push strollers up hills. c. Enjoys nature and taking walks 9. Minimum of 2 yrs experience in the field. 10. Can establish clear boundaries and follow through gently but firmly 11. Creative, funny, quick on your feet with the ability to improvise 12. Comfortable with singing, dancing, reading with enthusiasm! 13. Possess 21st Century skills 14. Comfortable interacting with the parents, grandparents, government officials, etc. 15. Ability to read and speak in Spanish a plus not required but comfortable in a space where it is spoken
Pay:
$23.00 - $30.00 per hour
