Qualifications & Desired Background:
Experience as a paraprofessional in school settings Familiarity supporting students with Mild/Moderate needs highly desirable Enthusiasm for working with elementary or secondary learners Ability to collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, specialists, and other educators Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Flexibility to adapt to dynamic classroom situations throughout the school year
Key Responsibilities:
Assist certified teachers in delivering individualized or small-group instruction Support students' academic, social, and behavioral development Implement classroom routines and reinforcement strategies Provide assistance during transitions, lunch, and recess periods as assigned Contribute to progress monitoring and documentation Help promote classroom safety and a welcoming atmosphere for all students
