Elementary School Assistant Teacher

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Teacher to support our Grammar School program. This role works closely with the lead teacher to create a positive, organized, and Christ-centered learning environment while supporting students academically and behaviorally.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the lead teacher with classroom organization, lesson preparation, and materials Help create a welcoming, well-managed, and engaging classroom environment Support individual students and small groups with assignments and learning concepts Communicate regularly with the lead teacher regarding student progress and behavior Supervise students during school activities (recess, chapel, field trips, etc.) Participate in school events and academic programs as assigned Maintain professionalism in appearance, conduct, and collaboration Engage in professional development opportunities as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required Student teaching or internship experience preferred Teaching credential preferred but not required
