The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment. This role involves supporting lead teachers in delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom behavior, and providing individualized attention to students. Experience in daycare settings or with toddlers is required as well as having at least 6 ECE college units completed. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing daily lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and social skills. Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day. Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs. Manage classroom behavior by implementing positive reinforcement strategies. Communicate effectively with students to encourage participation and engagement in learning activities. Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Requirements Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred. Knowledge of toddler care practices and behavior management techniques. Knowledge of and understanding of Title 22 licensing regulations. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with children, parents, and staff. Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in the growth and development of young children.
