Job Description

Woodcreek Montessori School is seeking an experienced, nurturing educator to join our established Montessori community in West Roseville. For nearly 30 years, Woodcreek Montessori has provided a thoughtfully prepared environment where children develop independence, concentration, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. We are a small, family-owned Montessori program serving children ages 18 months through 5 years. This position is ideal for a retired Montessori educator, former Montessori teacher, experienced Montessori assistant, or early childhood teacher with Montessori experience who misses working with children and would enjoy returning to the classroom without the responsibilities of running a school. Position Details Part-time mornings Wednesday & Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Competitive compensation based on experience Who We Are Looking For We are seeking someone who understands the value of a prepared environment and respects the Montessori philosophy of guiding children toward independence.
The ideal candidate:
Has Montessori classroom experience Has Montessori education Has Child Development education Enjoys working with toddlers and preschool ages Balance freedom with limits Can confidently assist with classroom management and daily routines Values kindness, consistency, and respectful communication Works collaboratively and brings a calm, positive presence to the classroom Responsibilities Support children during the Montessori work cycle Assist with classroom management and transitions Lead or assist with circle time, storytelling, and group activities Support outdoor classroom learning and playground supervision Help maintain a calm, organized, and beautiful learning environment Work alongside the lead teacher to foster independence, confidence, and a love of learning Why Woodcreek Montessori? Compensation:
$20-$30 per hour depending on Montessori education, Montessori experience and additional qualifications.
