Employees in this assignment spend a major portion of their time working with pupils in small groups or as tutors on a one-to-one basis. The remainder of the time is spent in preparing instructional materials, and in performing other tasks as assigned. View Job Description Requirements / Qualifications Previous experience is desirable in working with special education children, as a teacher, with recognized youth groups, or as a volunteer at a school. Must meet the following requirements in order to comply with the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA): Possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent AND any one of the following:

• Completion of 2 years of college at an Accredited Institution of Higher Education (48 units)
• Possession of an Associate's Degree or higher degree
• Passage of the CBEST exam
