" and any other relevant S-qualifications, clearly listed (transcripts or resumes alone do not suffice) Associates Degree or above OR 48 college units and a High School Diploma OR passing of the CBEST and High School Diploma OR passing the Instructional Aide Exam and High School Diploma Ability and willingness to support all aspects of student care, including health and behavioral needs, with professionalism Some positions may require successful completion of specialized training (CPR/First Aid, braille, sign language, healthcare procedures, or experience with significant behavioral needs as outlined in additional S-qualifications) Team player who is adaptable, reliable, and open to changing daily assignments as required by campus needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Support classroom teachers and special education teams in delivering individualized education services Assist students with a range of needs, including academic support, behavioral interventions, and personal care (such as diapering, feeding, and mobility assistance) Respond to urgent medical or behavioral situations calmly and appropriately Collaborate closely with school staff to create an inclusive and positive learning environment for all students Uphold district policies regarding flexibility and assignment changes per the needs of the school This position offers a highly supportive team environment, ongoing training opportunities including district-funded first aid/CPR certification, and the chance to have an immediate impact on students lives.
