Instructional Aide The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles (LA Catholics) - 3.5 Thousand Oaks, CA Job Details Part-time 1 day ago Qualifications Faculty collaboration High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Saint Paschal Baylon School is looking for a classroom Instructional Aide for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a part-time position of around 25-27 hours per week. The instructional aide supports the classroom teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, faith-filled, and academically engaging learning environment for students. The instructional aide works collaboratively with faculty and staff to support student learning, classroom management, and the mission of Catholic education.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the classroom teacher with daily instructional activities and classroom preparation Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce academic concepts and classroom lessons Support classroom management and promote positive student behavior Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and other assigned duties Prepare instructional materials, copies, bulletin boards, and classroom organization Assist with grading, record keeping, and clerical tasks as directed by the teacher Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment Support students' social, emotional, and spiritual development in accordance with Catholic values Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and school matters Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development as requested Requirements High school diploma required; B.A. or A.A. preferred Previous experience working with children in an educational setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, students, and parents Patience, flexibility, professionalism, and a positive attitude Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education Practicing Catholic preferred, but not required Wage Range The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
