Pool Technician

Duties Conduct regular pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing to maintain pristine water quality. Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as checking and adjusting chemical levels to ensure safety and compliance. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators using hand tools and power tools. Identify mechanical issues promptly and execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime. Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, and maintenance schedules for each client's pool system. Assist with opening and closing pools seasonally or as needed, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Communicate clearly with clients about maintenance needs, safety procedures, and ongoing care recommendations. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair or pool maintenance preferred. Hands-on experience with pool cleaning techniques and chemical balancing. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Service technician experience or similar roles involving equipment troubleshooting is highly desirable. Ability to work independently while following safety standards diligently. Valid driver's license required; willingness to learn industry-specific safety practices.
