Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant educational team as a STEAM/Robotics Instructor, where you will inspire and empower young learners through engaging, hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in children of various ages. As a key contributor to our dynamic learning environment, you will design and deliver innovative lessons that make complex concepts accessible and fun while promoting a love for learning and exploration. Responsibilities Develop and implement interactive STEAM and robotics curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels Lead engaging classroom sessions that incorporate robotics projects, coding exercises, engineering challenges, and creative arts activities Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including basic first aid procedures when necessary Support children with diverse needs by applying principles of special education and childhood development Foster teamwork, communication, and critical thinking through collaborative projects and group activities Maintain organized lesson plans, progress records, and student assessments to track development and achievement Requirements Prior experience in teaching or tutoring children in STEM, arts, or related fields Strong classroom management skills to maintain an organized and respectful environment Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Ability to work effectively with children of various ages, backgrounds, and abilities Certification or training in first aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is a plus Experience working with children with special needs or in inclusive settings is highly desirable Passion for education, creativity, and inspiring young minds to explore the world of science and technology Join us in shaping the next generation of innovators! Pay:
$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
