School-Based Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Paraprofessional to support students in a school setting in Vista, California. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a meaningful impact on their academic, behavioral, and social development. Responsibilities Provide classroom and 1:1 support to students based on individual needs Assist students with academic activities and classroom assignments Support students with behavioral and social-emotional needs Help students with transitions, routines, and daily activities Provide positive reinforcement and behavioral redirection when needed Assist teachers with classroom activities and student supervision Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and school personnel Assist with personal care needs when appropriate Qualifications Previous experience working with children or in a school setting preferred Experience supporting students with special needs is a plus Strong communication and teamwork skills Patient, dependable, and adaptable Ability to work effectively as part of a classroom team High school diploma or equivalent preferred Apply Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled
