You'll play a vital part on campus, primarily providing paraprofessional support to virtual occupational therapy (OT) sessions across two school sites. In addition to working directly with OT providers, you will have opportunities to assist in various classrooms, helping ensure students receive the resources and attention they need to succeed.

Key Qualifications:

Previous paraprofessional experience in a school setting strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to support student engagement and learning, particularly in virtual environments Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, multifaceted educational environment Willingness to split hours between two campuses and support multiple classrooms as needed Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to student-centered teamwork

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide consistent support during virtual OT sessions, ensuring students are engaged and participating Assist teachers and specialists in classroom settings, adapting to different grade levels and groups Help with classroom organization and preparation of learning materials Support students academic, physical, and social-emotional growth Communicate effectively with educators, OT providers, and other staff to facilitate cohesive student support Flexibly adjust tasks to meet varying needs across two school sites, contributing to a positive school community This contract position offers 30 hours per week, with the potential for full-time hours if you are open to assisting across various classrooms.
