Job Description

Step into a rewarding educational environment supporting students with special needs as an experienced paraprofessional. These contract opportunities begin August 11 and extend through May 21, 2027, offering a consistent and impactful role in a school setting near Aurora, CO. Multiple positions are available at both elementary and high school levels, ranging from approximately 26 to 37.5 hours per week.

Two completed professional RefAssured references are required and must be included for your application to be considered.
Ideal Qualifications:
Documented experience of at least one full year working in SPED (Special Education) classrooms Demonstrated expertise supporting students with significant or severe caseloads strongly preferred Flexibility to transition between different schools or age groups as needed throughout the contract Ability and willingness to assist students with personal care tasks, including toileting and diapering, as part of daily responsibilities Reliable personal transportation enabling timely arrival each day (public transit or rideshares do not meet this requirement) Ability to start work by 7:40am in elementary settings or by 8:00am for middle and high schools Clean background; successful candidates will undergo immediate fingerprinting, and any record of charges will disqualify applicants
