Estes Park Elementary School Estes Park School District R-3 Vacancy Announcement Bilingual Spanish/English ELD Paraprofessional Elementary School Estes Park School District is seeking a motivated Spanish-speaker to connect with students in the school district. This person would support the school's efforts to connect with and engage the non-English proficient students. Offer consistent on-site support to school staff and students in their ability to communicate and ensure an effective relationship so that students can engage in deep learning at school.

General Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of typical office equipment such as telephones, copiers, fax machines, email, etc. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work with others in a team setting. Strong organizational skills. Strong Spanish - English bilingual verbal and writing skills. Ability to solve problems. Ability to manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in an educational environment. Experience working with school age children, including those with behavioral challenges. Basic bilingual skills and experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse students. Be able to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.

Performance Responsibilities:

Monitor and reinforce appropriate student behavior during various activities such as play, lunch, in-school suspension, or in the classroom as required. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
