Ice Cream Server/Cashier

In this lively role, you'll serve delicious ice cream treats, operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, and ensure every customer leaves with a smile. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine food service expertise with retail and cashier responsibilities in a fast-paced, quick-service setting. Duties Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and serve ice cream with enthusiasm Operate POS systems Prepare ice cream cones, sundaes, and other menu items following food safety and sanitation standards Upsell products by recommending additional toppings or specialty items to enhance customer satisfaction Maintain cleanliness of the serving area, including cleaning equipment, counters, and seating areas (bussing) Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring quick service during busy hours Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers promptly while maintaining quality standards Follow all food handling protocols to ensure safety and sanitation in accordance with health regulations Support team members in maintaining a fun, efficient environment that encourages repeat visits Qualifications Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key! Familiarity with POS systems Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and create positive interactions Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math for sales upselling Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in a food industry setting Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks like lifting supplies or cleaning equipment Experience working in a café, retail store, grocery store, or food industry environment is advantageous Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently Join us in delivering delightful treats while providing exceptional service!
