Special Education Teacher in Estes Park, CO

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to support Extended School Year (ESY) services in Estes Park, CO, working part-time from June 1 to June 25, 2026. The position requires delivering specialized instruction to students during half-day sessions Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

Responsibilities include:

Providing tailored special education instruction to students in compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborating with district staff and participating in team meetings via Zoom during the interview process Maintaining classroom management and documentation consistent with district and state standards

Qualifications:

Valid Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider (CDE SSP) license Experience working as a Special Education Teacher, preferably with ESY programs Ability to commit to part-time hours averaging 14 hours per week during the ESY period Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with district personnel and families
