Job Description

Job Overview We are urgently seeking dedicated and compassionate Paraeducators or Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our dynamic team in Nederland, CO. This vital role involves providing high-quality behavioral support and educational assistance to children with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD). As a key member of our team, you will implement evidence-based interventions, assist with daily living activities, and support the development of essential skills in a nurturing environment. Responsibilities Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene routines Collect and analyze behavioral data to monitor progress and inform treatment plans Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy protocols tailored to each client's needs Support classroom or home-based learning environments through teaching and behavior management strategies Document medical records, care plans, and progress notes accurately following HIPAA guidelines Communicate effectively with clients' families and team members to ensure consistency in care plans Conduct behavioral health assessments and contribute to the development of individualized support strategies Skills Experience working with children, especially those with autism or neurodevelopmental disorders Knowledge of special education practices and behavior management techniques Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and implementing ABA therapy protocols Ability to collect detailed behavioral data and maintain precise medical documentation Strong understanding of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and medical records management Patience and empathy when working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays Excellent client communication skills to foster trust and cooperation in therapy sessions Join us in transforming lives through dedicated support, innovative therapies, and compassionate care. Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 per week
