Description:

Ellington Public Schools is seeking applications for multiple full-time special education paraeducators, Grades K-12. Candidate should have Physical Management Training (PMT), or be willing to participate in PMT training. Seeking skilled individual to support social skills, life skills and academics. Candidate should have knowledge of de-escalation techniques as well as ability to support student in early readiness skills.

Qualifications:

Minimum of high school diploma required. Candidate will be required to submit to a state and national criminal history check as well as a DCF search.

Working Conditions:

This position is a contracted 10-month position with benefits and follows the school calendar.
