Job Description

Farmington Montessori Children's Room is searching for a nurturing toddler teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Toddler Teacher, where you will play a vital role in nurturing the growth and development of young children during their formative years. This position offers an exciting opportunity to create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences that foster curiosity, independence, and social-emotional skills. The toddler teacher should be able to ensure that the basic and educational needs of our students are met. As a toddler teacher, you will be required to help prepare and deliver classroom activities, communicate with staff and parents, and ensure that the learning environment remains safe at all times. Hourly pay rate will change depending on experience and qualifications.
Toddler Assistant Teacher Responsibilities:
Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of materials. Tending to students' basic needs by feeding and dressing them. Occasionally running movement and music circles. Ensuring that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning at all times. Supervise students in class, between classes, during lunch, and play periods Helping students with potty training.
Toddler Teacher Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Clear criminal record Prior experience working with toddlers in a child care setting. Physically fit and able to lift up to 70 pounds. Warm, approachable disposition. Excellent problem-solving skills. A passion for early childhood development. Hourly pay rate will change depending on experience and qualifications.
Pay:
From $17.50 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per week
