Key Qualifications:
Connecticut Paraeducator Certificate required Experience as a paraprofessional in an educational setting preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students and staff Able to adapt and assist in diverse classroom environments Reliability and commitment to the full school year Positive, caring attitude and dedication to student success
Role Responsibilities:
Support classroom teachers with instructional and non-instructional tasks Assist students individually or in small groups with assignments and activities Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Provide specialized assistance to students with diverse learning needs Supervise students during classroom transitions, lunch, recess, and arrival/dismissal Follow teacher directions and school protocols at all times Contribute to ongoing communication between staff, students, and families as needed
Position Details:
