About This Role We seek innovative, professional, reliable candidates to join our team to implement a high quality play-based and nature-based early childhood curriculum. Candidate must have good communication skills, willingness to learn, and a strong interest in developing meaningful professional relationships with children and their families, and collaborating effectively with coworkers. What You'll Do Provide secure, trusting, warm relationships through responsive interactions and positive discipline. Supervise children for safety and to support their growing awareness of their own capabilities. Observe and respond appropriately to the children's needs, interests, and desires, in collaboration with teaching team. Model desired behaviors, including modeling good emotional expression and management. Be curious and open to learning through ongoing professional development. Follow all center policies, state regulation, and accreditation standards. Requirements Completion of 12 Early Childhood credits or a CDA required. Ability to work well with others. A strong understanding of child development. Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to become certified. Must clear full background check. Must pass health screening.
