This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with students and educators in a general education classroom, providing crucial support to teachers and helping facilitate a productive and inclusive learning environment. The assignment begins as soon as possible and is expected to run through Thanksgiving, with the potential for extension based on school needs.

Key Qualifications:

Completion of an associate's degree or successful completion of the ParaPro assessment Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is highly desired Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team Professionalism, reliability, and flexibility to adapt to the needs of students and teachers

Responsibilities:

Assist the classroom teacher with instructional activities and classroom management Provide individualized attention and encouragement to students as directed Support a welcoming, inclusive classroom culture for all learners Foster student engagement and positive behavior Help with classroom organization, instructional materials, and small group supervision Actively participate in team meetings and school activities as needed Maintain confidentiality and uphold school policies This role is full-time with consistent weekday hours from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm, allowing for excellent work-life balance.
