Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Medical Assistant Instructor to join our educational team. In this vital role, you will deliver engaging instruction and practical training to aspiring medical assistants, focusing on clinical skills, patient care, and medical terminology. Your expertise will help shape the next generation of healthcare professionals by providing comprehensive classroom and laboratory instruction grounded in real-world clinical practices. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to influence healthcare education while utilizing your extensive knowledge of medical procedures, anatomy, physiology, and clinical research. Responsibilities Develop and deliver curriculum content for clinical medical assistant courses, integrating current industry standards and best practices. Conduct classroom lectures, laboratory sessions, and hands-on training in patient care techniques, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Supervise students during clinical simulations and real-world practicum placements to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Evaluate student performance through assessments, practical exams, and documentation review to monitor progress and provide constructive feedback. Incorporate learning technologies such as LMS (Learning Management Systems), Blackboard, and other educational platforms to enhance instructional delivery. Collaborate with healthcare facilities for clinical research projects, clinical trials, and community health initiatives to provide students with practical exposure. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance evaluations, and compliance with accreditation requirements related to higher education teaching standards. Qualifications Proven experience in clinical settings with expertise in patient care, hospital or acute care environments, or veterinary critical care experience preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, nursing practices, and public health principles. Prior teaching experience in higher education or adult education settings is highly desirable. Supervising experience with students or staff in clinical or laboratory environments is essential. Familiarity with learning technology platforms such as LMS, Blackboard, and documentation review tools. Background in research activities including clinical research or clinical trials adds value. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse student populations across disciplines like pediatrics or veterinary medicine.
