Pay Rate:
$15.00 to $17.00 per hour Temporary Full-Time Opportunity Easterseals Florida is seeking a caring, dependable, and flexible Temporary Teacher/Teacher Assistant to join our team at Explorer Academy in Bunnell for an approximately three-month assignment during October, November, and December . This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a meaningful impact in a positive, supportive learning environment.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, with hours scheduled between 7:45 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Why Join Easterseals Florida? Duties include, but are not limited to: Supporting classroom activities and daily routines Encouraging children's learning, development, and independence Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment Following lesson plans and classroom schedules Assisting with meals, outdoor play, rest time, and transitions Building positive relationships with children, families, and staff Helping ensure classrooms remain clean, organized, and compliant with program standards What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required Experience working with young children preferred Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred Ability to successfully complete the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) 45-Hour Child Care Training within the first 90 days of employment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Positive, patient, and supportive approach when working with children Ability to adapt to different classrooms, age groups, and routines Willingness to learn DCF standards, ASQ, Conscious Discipline, and developmentally appropriate practices Dependable, professional, flexible, and aligned with Easterseals Florida's mission and values Join Our Team If you're passionate about helping children learn, grow, and thrive, we'd love to hear from you.
