Job Description
Educational Assistant (Part-Time) - Microschool & Tutoring We are seeking an Educational Assistant to support our growing microschool and academic programs. This is a part-time position in a positive, student-centered learning environment where you'll help children build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and develop a love of learning. Schedule Morning Microschool Monday-Friday Approximately 9:00 AM-11:00 AM Additional Hours Available Afternoon tutoring support (approximately 4:00 PM-6:00 PM ) may become available based on student enrollment. Applicants are welcome to apply for the morning schedule, afternoon schedule, or both. Responsibilities Assist students during reading, writing, and math instruction. Provide one-on-one and small-group academic support. Help students stay focused and engaged during lessons. Prepare learning materials and assist with classroom organization. Foster a positive, respectful, and encouraging learning environment. Work collaboratively with the lead teacher. Qualifications Experience working with children is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, organized, and patient. Passion for helping children learn and grow. Ability to work well as part of a team. Bonus Qualifications (Not Required) Experience or talents in music, Spanish, dance, art, STEM, or other enrichment areas are a plus and may lead to additional teaching opportunities. Compensation Starting at $18/hour, based on experience and qualifications. Opportunities for additional hours and professional growth as enrollment increases.
