Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher and Teacher Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preschool childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive, learn, and develop essential skills. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate curriculum, fostering positive relationships with students, and collaborating with parents to support each child's growth. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of preschool-aged children. Create lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and physical education activities. Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies to guide children's actions. Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development, behavior, and academic progress. Collaborate with special education staff for early intervention strategies when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized classroom that promotes learning through play and structured activities. Provide care for toddlers as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day. Skills Strong experience in curriculum development and lesson planning for preschool-aged children. Background in early childhood education with specific experience working with students in a preschool setting. Knowledge of childhood development principles, including behavior management techniques and child welfare practices. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures as applicable to early learners. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to create an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning needs, including special education expertise. Experience in classroom management and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere. Proficiency in tutoring techniques that enhance literacy and math skills among young learners.
