Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a caring and energetic VPK Teacher Aide to support our early childhood team. In this role, you will assist the lead teacher in creating a nurturing, engaging, and Christ-centered classroom. You will help guide children's learning and development in a positive environment that builds early literacy, math, and social-emotional skills. Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher with daily lessons and activities Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom Support children's learning through play and structured activities Encourage positive behavior and social skills Provide extra support to children with individual needs Keep classroom materials clean and organized Communicate with staff and families in a kind, professional manner Qualifications Experience working with young children preferred Basic understanding of early childhood development Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable, positive, and flexible attitude Meets DCF requirements (45 hours required) Christian Qualifications Demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ Supports and models Christian values in words and actions Comfortable leading children in prayer and simple Bible activities Aligns with the mission and beliefs of the preschool Join our team and help make a lasting impact in the lives of children through faith and learning.
