Position Overview Alignstaffing is hiring Teacher Assistants to support Early Head Start (EHS) and School Readiness programs serving children ages 0-5. These roles focus on creating safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environments while supporting children's development and ensuring compliance with program and licensing standards. Key Responsibilities Support developmentally appropriate classroom activities and daily routines Maintain active supervision and ensure a safe learning environment Support children's social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development Assist with lesson plans, classroom organization, and daily activities Perform diapering, toileting assistance, and hygiene support as needed Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of classroom materials and spaces Communicate with families regarding children's progress and needs Maintain accurate documentation (attendance, assessments, incident reports) Follow Head Start Performance Standards and state licensing regulations
Qualifications For Teacher Assistants:
CDA, FCCPC, or relevant early childhood experience preferred Experience working with young children is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Frequent standing, bending, and kneeling Ability to perform diapering and cleaning tasks Benefits for Staffing Members Weekly Pay Flexible Shift Work Opportunities - Choose your schedule W2
