Description The Student Teaching Assistant will attend class meetings and support student learning through discussion, collaborative activities, course-material support, and exam review. Examples of Duties Assist the professor in several in-class discussions Assist the professor in short answer and reading evaluations Assist the professor in monitoring class participation on Canvas Assist the professor in proctoring exams Assist the professor in other class-related duties Minimum Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with undergraduate students Strong reading, writing, and speaking skills Familiarity with the course material and expectations Reliability, professionalism, and ability to work collaboratively with the instructor All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring immigration sponsorship, including but not limited to non-immigrant visas, such as H1B, STEM, or F1, now and in the future.
