Our innovative programs are designed to equip young learners with the skills, mindset, and knowledge necessary to become future leaders and innovators. Overview We are seeking energetic and passionate Lead and Assistant Teachers to join our Winter Park team. In this vital role, you will inspire young minds, foster a love of learning, and create a nurturing classroom environment. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help shape the next generation of thinkers, creators, and problem-solvers. Duties Develop engaging curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards and promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional development Implement age-appropriate activities for children across various developmental stages, including toddlers and preschoolers Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons, share best practices, and support ongoing professional development Qualifications Proven experience working with children in early childhood or daycare settings Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and curriculum development Experience with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques Familiarity with classroom management tools and lesson planning methods Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and team members Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications in childhood education or preschool teaching preferred Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is essential Prior experience teaching physical education or working with standardized testing is a plus Demonstrated ability to foster a positive learning environment through effective classroom management Join us at Young Innovators Academy where your passion for early childhood education can make a meaningful difference! Pay:
