Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to the needs of students. Support children's learning by providing one-on-one or small group assistance, particularly for those with special education needs or disabilities. Engage with students during classroom activities, encouraging participation and positive behavior. Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to teachers on individual student needs. Assist with classroom management, ensuring that all students are engaged and focused on their tasks. Supervise children during playtime, lunch, and other activities to ensure safety and well-being. Collaborate with teachers to adapt instructional materials for diverse learning styles. Participate in training sessions related to childhood development, behavior management, and special education practices. Qualifications Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Familiarity with special education strategies and techniques for working with individuals with disabilities. First aid certification is a plus. Previous experience in preschool, daycare, or toddler care environments is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff. Ability to manage classroom dynamics and implement behavior management strategies effectively. A background in childhood development or caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
