9676526-30906 Job Description Support students growth and development in a highly impactful, contract-based role as a Paraprofessional with a focus on 1:1 or self-contained classroom support. This position is located near Augusta, GA, and covers the morning block from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This is an excellent opportunity for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or experienced paraprofessionals seeking to make a difference within the school community on a flexible contract basis. You will play a vital role in providing personalized support, assisting students with daily routines, academic learning, and social development in a supportive environment.
Desired qualifications:
Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or RBT Ability to effectively support students one-on-one or in small group settings Knowledge of special education practices is highly valued Strong communication and teamwork skills Committed to promoting a positive, structured classroom experience Reliable, punctual, and compassionate approach Key responsibilities: Work closely with students in a self-contained or one-on-one setting during morning instructional blocks Collaborate with teaching staff to reinforce learning and implement behavior intervention plans if applicable Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment Assist students in staying engaged with classroom activities, routines, and transitions Provide support with social skills, self-regulation, and academic work Document student progress and communicate observations with lead staff as needed This contract position offers a unique schedule ideal for those who enjoy working with children and value part-time morning hours.
