Part-Time Assistant Teacher Schedule:

Discovery Point Hamilton Mill 2380 Hamilton Mill Pkwy, Dacula, GA 30019 Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities and routines Supervise children and maintain a safe, positive classroom environment Engage with children through play, conversation, songs, reading, and age-appropriate activities Assist with meals, snacks, diapering/toileting, and other daily care routines as needed Help maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom Follow classroom schedules and center policies Communicate professionally with teachers, management, children, and families Assist with transitions, playground time, and other classroom duties Complete required cleaning and closing responsibilities Follow all Georgia childcare licensing and center health and safety requirements Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Previous childcare or daycare experience is preferred Must be dependable and have reliable transportation Must be able to work consistently during the scheduled hours Must enjoy working with young children and be comfortable actively interacting with them throughout the day Must be able to work as part of a team and follow directions Must be willing to complete required background checks and childcare training CPR/First Aid certification is preferred We Are Looking for
