After School Enrichment Program Assistant

Job Description

AvPRIDE, Inc. is seeking a dependable and youth-focused After School Enrichment Program (ASEP) Assistant to support daily program operations in Fayetteville, GA. This position is strictly an assistant role. The ASEP Assistant supports Lead Teachers, supervises students during afterschool hours, and is responsible for daily student pick-up from two local elementary schools. This role requires reliability, professionalism, and a strong commitment to student safety. Key Responsibilities Assist Lead Teachers with daily afterschool enrichment activities Supervise students during program hours to ensure safety and positive behavior Transport students from two local elementary schools to the program site Support classroom activities, transitions, and structured play Assist with snack time, clean-up, and daily program set-up Maintain a safe, organized, and respectful learning environment Communicate student concerns or incidents directly to the ASEP Supervisor Follow all AvPRIDE safety policies, transportation protocols, and child supervision standards Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid Georgia driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a criminal background check Experience working with children in an afterschool, school, or community-based setting preferred Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team Strong reliability and punctuality (daily school pick-up is essential) Physical ability to supervise children and assist with basic program set-up Preferred (Not Required) CPR and First Aid certification Prior experience with afterschool or youth enrichment programs Work Schedule & Conditions Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM Part-time, school-year schedule In-person position based in Fayetteville, GA What We Offer Consistent weekday schedule Supportive team environment Meaningful work supporting youth and families Opportunity to gain experience in youth programming Submit resume, recent driving record and 3 references (2 professional and 1 personal)
